The electric model of the Niro Hybrid and Niro Plug-In Hybrid, the 2025 Niro EV is a compact crossover perfect for city driving. Kia equips both trim levels with the same electric powertrain that generates 201 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. The front-wheel drive layout delivers excellent traction in adverse driving conditions, while steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters deliver a sporty driving dynamic.
Range and Charging
Whether you’re driving to work or heading on a road trip, the 2025 Niro EV has plenty of range to power all your journeys. On a full charge, it provides an EPA-estimated up to 253 miles, with an EPA-estimated MPGe of 113 MPGe combined. The fast-charging battery replenishes from 10 to 80 percent in about 43 minutes at DC charging stations, with a speed of 85 kW. The system also supports Level 1 and Level 2 charging, so you can charge the battery at home.

The interior is spacious and well-equipped for comfortable daily drives. A 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support adjustments is standard, while the front passenger’s seat boasts manual adjustments.
