Connectivity Options Available in the 2024 Kia Sportage
The base Kia Sportage LX supports standard connectivity to Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and wireless Bluetooth technology for compatible devices. Wired Android Auto connectivity allows you to access music apps, Google Maps, and SMS messaging, while Apple CarPlay supports Siri features like voice command. Wireless Bluetooth features can be accessed on multiple devices for your passenger’s convenience.
The LX also comes with one front USB media port and one front USB-C charging port. This trim has an 8-inch color touchscreen so you can navigate the radio, HD audio, and other multimedia controls. The LX has a six-speaker audio system with two tweeters mounted on the dash to balance your audio experience.
What About Higher Trims?
Upper trim levels come with a standard 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with built-in navigation and an integrated blue light filter. You can access 130 channels of satellite radio via SiriusXM on all trims above the EX. The EX and above trims are also equipped with a remote start engine, a wireless phone charger, two USB-C charging ports, and Kia Connect Services. Models like the SX and SX Prestige have an eight-speaker Harman Kardon speaker system.
Kia Connect allows for seamless integration with your smart device, including smartwatches, so you can access convenient features like climate control and remote unlocking. Higher Sportage trims also come with pre-heating and pre-cooling via the Kia Access app, so you can adjust the temperature of the cabin before you start your day.
Other Great Interior Features
The five-seat LX has other impressive standard interior features, such as a six-way manual adjustable driver’s seat, which allows you to adjust the height and other seating position settings to your preference. The LX has a 60/40 folding and reclining rear seat and a dual-level cargo floor to optimize your cargo space, as well as interior lighting so you can enjoy perfect interior visibility all day long.
The EX model has a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-way lumbar support to help maximize your comfort behind the wheel. Heated and ventilated front seats are standard for the SX Prestige model, along with a heated steering wheel for more comfortable steering during the winter. A driver’s seat memory system with two preset memory positions is standard for trims above the SX level.
